A play by Ra'anan Paz Inspired by the book "Jesse,ballewal-tsji" by the Dutch writer Harm de Jonge

The amazing story of nine-year-old Roger and Jesse, two children from different worlds who meet during the war.

 

Roger, a Dutch-Christian boy, lives with his parents on the safe side of the city, while the Jesse, a Jewish girl lives alone in the ghetto, disguising herself as a boy in order to survive. The two invent an imaginary world where Jesse is the prince of a magical kingdom called 'Plasticine' and Roger is a brave warrior and the prince’s right hand.
