A play by Tamar Levin following Ethel Pedley's classic book

Little Dot wants to prove to her parents that she is already big and independent.
She leaves the family farm and goes out into the Australian forest to pick herbs for her rabbits. She gets lost. A kangaroo finds her, adopts her, pops her into her pouch and sets off to return Dot to her parents' home. Together they embark on a wonderful journey, full of adventures and fun, drama and emotion in the Australian outback with its unique creatures, each encounter bringing them closer to their destination and revealing to Dot the world outside the farm.
